DALMAR
DALMARMeaning: Versatile; adaptable; many-sidedI believe a Bouvier should be healthy, intelligent, have the ability to be a working dog, as well as have correct conformation. I will always strive to breed Bouviers who will fulfill all the above as well as longevity and the most important job of all, being a wonderful family pet to a Bouvier approved home.
Located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.. In our home we have "Karli", she is the future of Dalmar Bouviers and is a wonderful example of the breed.. Karli has a fantastic outgoing and stable temperament, she is very loving and a real sweet girl. Most important she is great with our two boys...She has enjoyed training in bite work, obedience, fun agility, and most recently carting. She has passed all her health clearances and is also an American Champion.I feel it is very important to only breed dogs that have exceptional temperaments, have passed health screens, and have correct conformation. My Bouviers will always be a part of our family and puppies will always be socialized and raised in our home. I will always own a manageable number of dogs and never any more than I am able to properly raise, socialize, groom and provide attention to. It is such a waste to not allow a Bouvier to show its full potential. Even after a show career is finished, they should not be left home as breeding stock. They should be provided with daily activities to provide mental and physical exercise.
I feed my dogs a natural raw diet, with a mixture of The Honest Kitchen puppies are offered this diet when they are ready. I do not believe in force weaning. I also feel fresh air and sunshine is very important to raising healthy puppies.. My puppies will always be allowed to play outside and explore the world, most likely following one of my boys as they explore.
